RAFFLE
As you may have noticed, our beach has long been the victim of coastal erosion. Significant work must be done in order to preserve the existence of the shoreline we all know and love. When you buy a raffle ticket, not only will you be entered in the drawing for a free week at The East Deck, but you will also be doing your part to help fund this costly but necessary project.
If you wish to purchase a raffle ticket please stop by the East Deck Office or have a friend buy one for you. Sorry but we cannot sell raffle tickets online or over the phone.

 

RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
  • Donation amount is $20.00 per raffle ticket.
  • All proceeds from the raffle will go towards the shoreline restoration project.
  • Each raffle ticket purchased is a separate chance to win the Grand Prize.
  • There is no limit to the amount of tickets that can be purchased by a single party.
  • The Grand Prize Winner will be picked at random from the ticket receptacle on Columbus Day Weekend. (See this page for drawing results after Mon., Oct. 13th )
  • The Winner will be notified personally.
  • The Grand Prize Winner will be granted a one-week stay (7 nights) at the East Deck, any time during the 2009 season. (Sales tax included, subject to availability)
  • The free one-week stay applies to our “Motel” class of rooms ONLY. Any desired accommodation upgrade will be charged to The Winner according to the price differential between rooms per the 2009 tariff schedule.
  • The free one-week stay applies to Double Occupancy ONLY. Any increase in the number of guests will be charged to The Winner as per the 2009 tariff schedule.
  • The Grand Prize MUST be claimed in the 2009 business season. If The Winner is unable to utilize their stay during that time they may transfer the prize to a third party via written consent to the East Deck Staff.
  • Winners must utilize their free one-week stay in a consecutive 7-day period. If for any reason, The Winner must shorten their stay or if they are unavailable to stay for an entire week, the balance of the week is forfeited. No remainder or portion of the free one- week is transferable.
  • Once a reservation is made, it is a commitment between The Winner and the East Deck. No date changes will be permitted once a reservation is confirmed. If The Winner makes a reservation and cannot commit to the dates specified, it will result in a forfeiture of the free one-week. However, as an alternative they may transfer the reservation in its entirety to a third party to utilize the free stay in their place.
  • Cancellations, once a reservation is confirmed, will result in forfeiture of the free one-week stay. However, as an alternative to forfeiture, the winner may transfer the confirmed reservation in its entirety to a third party to utilize the free one-week stay in their place.
  • Participants need not call for, or be present at the drawing to determine results. Simply visit this page and see below.
